Things to Do: DC Scavenger Hunt

I'm such a sucker for scavenger hunts, especially those that require you to roam around exploring the city for hours at a time. But for some reason I always seem to miss those I really want to participate in for one reason or another. Well, lucky for me I've found another opportunity.

On Saturday, July 9 United Social Sports will be hosting a scavenger hunt, and it's open to everyone. You'll have the opportunity to discover DC while having tons of fun and earning prizes. Another great feature of this event is the proceeds will support local charity, Bread for the City.

IMPORTANT...One of the free deal websites, What's the Deal is offering a "super early bird rate" which is 50% off of registration from now through Thursday, June 9. To purchase your discounted registration before it's too late, click here.

Below is a little more information about the Scavenger Hunt...

Starting Location:
Aria Pizzeria & Bar (13th Street and Pennsylvania NW)
Time: 11:30AM - registration
5:00PM Deadline to return to Aria Pizzeria & Bar

Your Mission: Scurry around our Nations Capital on a hunt for forgotten places, off the wall items, and little known facts! The Hunt will test your ability to solve clues, crunch mind bending riddles and plot your game winning strategy as you go head to head with dozens hundreds, of other DC hunters!

Your Reward: After the Hunt you’ll be treated to a laid back after party at Aria Pizzeria & Bar in the beautiful Ronald Reagan building courtyard. You’ll lounge in the shade on the patio, enjoy cool music, and sip your FIRST DRINK FREE on us! We’ll also have Cornhole boards setup to help you toss your worries away.

Prizes: The top 3 teams will be awarded prizes! The more teams we have the bigger the prizes will be. They’ll range from Gift Certificates to cash prizes!

Hope to see you there!
