One of my favorite organizations, College Bound, is hosting a happy hour on Tuesday, June 29th at Jordan's 8 on Capitol Hill. The event has been coordinated by I.C.E. (Ivy Cause Events) and 60% of the proceeds will be donated to College Bound to continue their mentoring and college preparation work with DC youth!

A little about College Bound...College Bound provides tutoring and mentoring to for students in the 8th -12th grade. Students must be currently enrolled in Metropolitan DC Public and Public Charter Schools. Their goal is to motivate students and provide them with opportunities for growth which will prepare them for their transition to college. One hundred percent of College Bound students graduate from high school and over 95% matriculate into college. If that's not impressive, then I don't know what is.
