Just heard that Beach Bums and Bellinis is back for the months of October and November. If you are not familiar with it, it's a weekly event held on Sundays in the morning. Each week a different exercise instructor will teach an hour long class and afterwords you will be served brunch on the rooftop of the W Hotel.
Classes fill up quickly, as I learned during the summer, so if you see a class you're interested in taking, my advice is to register ASAP. See below for more information, taken from the W's website.
Escape to the W Washington D.C. rooftop Sundays this fall for our next round of wildly popular Sunday brunch and fitness sessions: Beach Bums & Bellinis: Jetset Edition! Get your bum in jetset shape, as each week you'll be entered for the chance for a stay at one of eight W properties around the world: W Vieques, W Barcelona, W Hollywood, W South Beach, W Mexico City, W Santiago, W Istanbul and W Montreal. WHAT?
A series of exclusive fitness classes on W’s rooftop hosted by lululemon athletica ambassadors from the capitol's premier studios followed by a rewarding bottomless bellini brunch overlooking the White House. Each session will be inspired by a W city.

Things to Do: Beach Bums & Bellinis
Last week when I was at my pole dancing class at Pole Pressure, I spotted a cute postcard advertising a series of exercise classes being held at the W Hotel in downtown Washington DC. The name of the bi-weekly event is Beach Bums & Bellinis.
The W, Lululemon Athelica, Bliss Spa, along with partnering exercise studios are sponsoring hour-long classes in the room on the top floor of the hotel from10:45-11:45AM. After the class, guests are invited to partake in a buffet brunch on the W's rooftop where you'll have a chance to take in spectacular scenery. Your brunch will be complete with bottomless Bellinis and Bloody Marys.
The class and brunch are just $39 (plus tax and tip), which is unbeatable considering many of the classes would be $20 alone. Plus, all of the attendees through the end of the series, will be entered to win fabulous prizes, including a Saturday night stay at the hotel and a spa treatment at Bliss.
To make reservations, call 202-661-2455 or visit your local Lululemon. Hurry because space is limited!

Things to Do: Free Yoga at Stroga
Stroga is an amazing yoga studio located in a beautiful, historic building in the Adams Morgan neighborhood. They offer a weekly Community Class on Saturdays from 10:15AM - 11:45AM and the best part is the class is FREE. Actually, they refer to it as a "Pay-What-You-Can" class. Those who are inclined to make donations, should know their money is going to a local charity.
